RCL Foods Husk Separation
A husk separating system serving six seed processing screens, removing de-husked material and transporting it via ductwork to a cyclone for further processing.
Fumex Engineering designed and supplied a husk separating system serving six seed processing screens at RCL Foods in Randfontein.
Once the seeds have been de-husked, the extraction system removes the husks from the top deck of the seed screens. The husks are then transported via the ductwork to a cyclone system for further processing.
